WHAT IS ALPHA?

Alpha is a film series with discussion groups to connect with others to explore life and the Christian faith in a relaxed and friendly environment. There are 13 sessions (free of charge) which begin with food, continue with a short video on a key topic and end with time to share and ask questions. WHO IS IT FOR?

Alpha is for anyone who’s curious and particularly for those who wouldn’t call themselves a Christian but want to find out more. The videos are designed to encourage conversation and explore the basics of the faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish.

WHEN IS THE NEXT ONE?

We are about to start running the course and plan to start more in September, January and next March.

WHAT’S the plan?

We look at a different topic, some of which can be seen below:

Is there more to life than this? Who is Jesus? Why did Jesus die? How can I have faith? Why and how can I pray? Why and how should I read the Bible? How can I make the most of my life? How can I resist evil? How does God guide us? Does God heal today? What about the church?
